Apple Tree Mascot

My high school floral design teacher and close friend reached out to commission a character sign for the preschool he volunteers for, with the intention of making the entrance to the preschool more welcoming to the children attending it. Process included hand sketching the character design, then vectorizing the art by drawing it on a tablet using Adobe Fresco. Art was then scaled up and printed to create a template, which was transfered to the MDF and cut using a router. After sealing, painting and sealing again, the sign should be able to withstand the elements and last many years.
